The lenses

Are all KALIYADI lenses polarized?

45 of our 48 styles carry polarized film. The three exceptions are the night driving glasses and two sport styles that run a plain UV400 tint; every product page says plainly which lens it wears.

What does UV400 actually mean?

The lens blocks light up to 400 nanometres, which covers the UVA and UVB bands. It is a spec about invisible light, separate from how dark the tint looks. All of our lenses meet it, including the kids sizes.

Will polarized lenses mess with my phone screen?

At some angles, some screens dim or show a rainbow sheen. Rotating the phone or tilting your head fixes it. Car LCD dashboards can do the same; our driving note covers it.

Are the night driving glasses sunglasses?

No. They are lightly tinted yellow, carry no polarizing film on purpose, and exist to soften oncoming headlight glare. Wearing actual sunglasses at night is a bad idea, including ours.

The frames

What is the difference between the 58 mm and 62 mm aviators?

Lens width. 58 sits smaller and suits narrower faces; 62 wears wider and reads more classic-pilot. If a past aviator felt like a face shield, go 58.

Do the sport frames fit kids?

We make 3 youth styles sized for roughly ages six to fourteen. Adult sport wraps run too wide for most kids, so the young sizes are cut smaller rather than just labelled smaller.

Ordering, payment and delivery

Can I buy directly on this site?

No, and that is by design. We keep the catalogue, the specs and the comparisons here; the buy button on each pair hands you to our retail partner, who runs checkout, payment, delivery and returns on their side.

What is in a 2-pack or 3-pack?

Complete pairs in different colourways, not spare lenses. The exact colours in each set are pictured on the pair’s page here and listed again at the partner before you pay.

Why did the price change between this site and the listing?

Our prices are a snapshot from our last check; the partner adjusts theirs continuously. The checkout page at the partner is always the real number.

Where is my package?

In your account at the retail partner, under the order. Tracking never passes through us, so the order page there is both the first and the last place to look.

What if a pair arrives damaged?

Returns and replacements are handled by the retail partner under their standard policy, from the same account you ordered with. Our returns page walks through where to click.

Still open?

If your question is about a pair, the contact page explains how to reach us. If it is about an order, the partner’s help pages are the working door.
